Dress Code 

 

Ballet, Tap, Lyrical & Jazz 

We would love to see you in dancewear!

Hair should be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail, braid or bun.

  • Tippy Toes: Leotard, skirt and tights or athletic clothes like legging and a close fitting top.

  • Kindergarten–3rd Grade: Leotard, skirt and tights or athletic clothes like legging and a close fitting top.

  • 4th Grade and Up: Athletic clothes like legging or spandex shorts and a close fitting top.

Proper dancewear allows instructors to see body alignment and movement, helping dancers train safely and effectively.

Dance​ Shoes

Ballet:  Black ballet shoe

Tap: Black tap shoe

Lyrical: Flesh colored turner

Jazz: Black jazz shoe

Clogging:  Black clogging oxford

Hip Hop * Fusion * Cheer Pom: White slip on sneaker

 

Hip Hop and Cheer Pom

We recommend athletic clothes like legging and a close fitting top. Hair should be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail, braid or bun.

Gymnastics 

It is recommended that female gymnasts wear a leotard or close-fitting shirts with shorts/leggings.  Boys may wear athletic shorts or pants and a t-shirt. For safety reasons students will not be able to participate on the uneven bars if their clothing has zippers, buttons or snaps. 

  • Hair must be up in a tidy bun or twist, braid and/or a ponytail.

  • Bracelets (other than medical ID), necklaces and dangling earrings are not to be worn during class. Students will be asked to remove jewelry before class or rehearsal.

  • Street clothing such as jeans or school clothes should not be worn to class. For safety measures, students may be restricted from class participation if not properly attired

FUSION

Much like gymnastics classes students should wear a leotard and shorts or close-fitting shirts with shorts/leggings.  Boys may wear athletic shorts or pants and a t-shirt. For safety reasons students will not be able to participate on the uneven bars if their clothing has zippers, buttons or snaps. During the dance portion of class students wear white dance sneaker.
